An early wake-up call will be met with coffee and rusks at the main area of camp before you depart on a morning game drive. Your guiding and tracking team will traverse predator-rich areas, frequented by local lion prides. Game viewing is always an unpredictable adventure—you'll encounter some incredible moments with wildlife.

After your morning activity, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by an optional bush walk (weather permitting). Bush walks offer an immersive experience into the wild.

During your downtime, we encourage you to spend some time around the pool overlooking the waterhole in front of camp, frequented by abundant bird species and wildlife.

Lunch will be served later in the day before you depart on an afternoon game drive, including sundowners and a night drive back to camp. Dinner is served, followed by a boma session and your last night in at nThambo Tree Camp.

There's an early morning wake-up call, followed by coffee and rusks in the main area before departing for your last game drive. Use this opportunity to try and spot species from your bucket list.

After drive, return to camp and enjoy a hearty breakfast, before freshening up and packing for your next destination. You'll depart nThambo Tree Camp and meet the Nyala Safari guide at the Jejane Gate for a quick 40 minute drive to the lodge.

Arrive to a welcome drink at the new lodge, and receive a briefing by the camp host before being shown to your classic rondavel-style chalet under the trees.

Relax in your luxury chalet and then make your way to the main area for lunch, after which you will depart for your afternoon game drive in the Balule Nature Reserve. This area is famed for its frequent predator sightings.

Your guide will pack a cooler box with your choice of drinks for sundowners. During your 3-hour game drive, you will stop for sundowners in a scenic area.

Enjoy the beauty and wildlife of the Mohlabetsi sector of the Balule Nature Reserve before returning to camp for dinner, boma sessions and your first night at Nyala Safari Lodge.

Rise to an early wake-up call followed by coffee in the main area that overlooks the riverbed below.

After a warm cuppa, you will depart for a morning game drive and hopefully encounter some of the Big 5 on drive. Upon returning to camp, breakfast will be served.

Sit down and enjoy an incredible meal, followed by an afternoon siesta, or a spot of birdwatching around camp. Lunch is served later in the afternoon and a sunset game drive complete with sundowners awaits to end the day.

After your game drive, return to camp to enjoy the campfire and a three-course dinner before tuning in for your last night on Nyala Safari Lodge.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, followed by a delicious breakfast prepared by the chef at Nyala Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, return to your room, freshen up and say goodbye to our team before departing back to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward journey.
