You can also spot the little five (elephant shrew, buffalo weaver, leopard tortoise, antlion and rhino beetle) if you are lucky enough.
Can I feed the animals in Kruger National Park?
Absolutely not. You can’t feed any animals in Kruger National Park. The park strictly follows the rule and if you do anything like that it will be counted as a serious offence and you will be fined heavily for it.
Though monkeys and baboons will run towards you while travelling through the park, you have to avoid them to feed and interact.

The dry winter season which runs between May to August is the best time to visit Kruger National Park. This time is perfect to spot the wild animals moving freely. The fewer vegetables and less rainfall make it easier to spot them. Temperature also remains mild during the daytime with a chilly night.
But if you are fascinated by birding safari, the rainy season between November and March is the perfect time for you. You can also see many young animals as this is also the calving season.
How Can I visit Kruger National Park?
There are three major options to get to Kruger National Park . Those are: Fly to Johannesburg and then just drive over four hours to the park. Take an internal flight from Johannesburg to Kruger Mpumalanga airport and then drive for one hour. Or you can take an internal flight from Johannesburg to Skukuza.
Is Kruger National Park safe to visit?
Like most of the parks and game reserves in South Africa, Kruger National Park is also a safe destination to travel around. A maximum of the people you will meet in the region are usually tourists, staff working for the tour operators, accommodations or park authorities. So, you don’t have to worry about safety concerns while travelling to Kruger National Park in South Africa.
