An early wake-up call will be met with coffee and rusks at the main area of lodge before you depart on the morning game drive.

After your morning activity, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by an optional bush walk (weather permitting).

You'll have the rest of the day to explore the lodge. Spend some time around the pool overlooking the seasonal Sand River, a drawcard for wildlife. It's from this vantage point where you can spot buffalo and elephant herds.

Lunch will be served, buffet style, later in the day before you depart on an afternoon game drive, including sundowners and a night drive back to camp.

Dinner is served in the boma, followed by your last night at Umkumbe Safari Lodge.

Start your day with an early wake-up call, followed by a quick cup of coffee and rusks in the main area of the lodge, preparing you for an exciting morning game drive.

After your game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. There is still time for one last bush walk before preparing for your onward journey.

Meet your Nyala Safari guide at the Jejane Gate for a quick 40-minute drive to the lodge. Arrive to a welcome drink, and receive a briefing by the camp host before being shown to your classic rondavel-style chalet under the trees.

Then it's time for lunch in the main area, after which you will depart for your afternoon game drive. Your guide will pack a cooler box with your choice of drinks and you'll "drop anchor" in the bushveld to observe golden hour in the bushveld.

Enjoy the Mohlabetsi beauty and wildlife for a couple of hours before returning to camp for dinner and your first night at Nyala Safari Lodge.

Rise to an early wake-up call followed by coffee and rusks. After a warm cuppa, you will depart for a morning game drive and hopefully encounter some of the Big 5 on drive.

Upon returning to camp, breakfast will be served. Sit down and enjoy a good meal, followed by an afternoon siesta, or a spot of birdwatching around camp. Enjoy the viewing deck overlooking the waterhole, poolside or various relaxation spots around camp.

Lunch is served later in the afternoon, followed by an afternoon game drive that moves into sunset.

After your game drive, return to camp to enjoy the campfire and a three-course dinner before your last night at Nyala Safari Lodge.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, followed by a delicious breakfast prepared by the chef at Nyala Safari Lodge. After breakfast, return to your room, freshen up and bid farewell to Nyala Safari Lodge as you depart for Chacma Bush Camp via the Grietjie Gate.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted warmly and receive a comprehensive briefing from the camp host before being escorted to your comfortable thatched chalet./p>

After settling in, indulge in a delicious lunch served in the main area overlooking the waterhole. Elephants frequently put on a display at the waterhole - don't be surprised to see them while at lunch.

Later in the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive. Your knowledgeable guide will prepare a cooler box stocked with your preferred drinks as you journey into the wild, immersing yourself in the wonders of the wilderness.

After a couple of hours of wildlife sightings, return to camp for a sumptuous dinner, marking your first memorable night at Chacma Bush Camp.
