Lions head is one of the most conspicuous landmarks of Cape town Inner city. Standing at 669m above sea level, it is one of the most hiked mountains in the world. Scours of people hike this mountain as a weekly exercise. From 5am to 8pm, there is never a time you will not find hikers ascending and descending this mountain. Named lions head because of how the mountain resembles a crouching lion and with the highest tip being the head. Lions head is also very well known for being a beehive of paragliding activities.
